The Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario (ACTO) is a specialty community legal clinic with a provincial mandate to advance and protect the interests of low-income tenants. They specialize in housing issues related to tenants in Ontario.

Tenant Duty Counsel Program

ACTO's Tenant Duty Counsel Program provides legal advice, assistance, resources and referrals to unrepresented tenants on the day of their hearing at the Landlord and Tenant Board. Priority is given to tenants facing eviction.
